My Impossible List

I saw this idea from College Info Geek and decided that I’d craft my own and put it here.

Put simply, the impossible list is an ever-evolving list of experiences that build upon each other, help others as well as yourself, and implore you to take action. This is mine, which is, of course, ever-evolving.

This page is very personal, but I keep it here on as an ever-present reminder to all who would take heed of it (like I did from Thomas).

Current focuses:

After a number of challenges faced at the beginning of 2020, ranging from personal, business, local (Zagreb earthquake in March) and global (the pandemic), right now my focus is on myself. This focus continues in 2021.


Life Goals

  • Graduate University
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Major in Multimedia Computing (October 2019)
    • Master’s Degree in Computer and Systems Sciences, Major in Open eGovernment
  • Move to Sydney, Australia
  • Maintain a loving, inspiring, happy relationship with my amazing partner Mislav (5 years and counting)
  • Be self-sufficient and location-independent
    • Have enough to self-fund a PhD
    • Have enough to cover living costs in Sydney during the PhD
    • Have at least $20,000 to invest in other education
    • Have enough to get a full-time employee
    • Have enough for a 2-month food trip around the USA
  • Start a PhD
    • Contact potential mentor
    • Write PhD Proposal
  • Help other creatives learn their value and realise their potential (always in progress)
  • Fly a plane (October 2015)
    • Do it again!
  • Design and build a Tiny House
  • Do a TED talk
  • Be on stage with Simon Sinek, Adam Grant, and Malcolm Gladwell (not necessarily at the same time, but that would be ideal 🙂)
  • Run for Prime Minister
  • Get a cat
  • By a plot or an old house near a beach in Sydney and build and design my dream home

Fitness/Health Goals

  • Do F45 3 times a week consistently for a month (progress page to be added—COVID’s making this hard at the moment…)
  • Cycle instead of using public transport (always in progress)
  • Meditate at least 5 out of 7 days a week (progress ↗️)
  • Do yoga at least 3 out of 7 days a week (progress ↗️)
  • Learn how to surf

Professional Goals

  • Grow the “Blossoming Creative” newsletter to 50 subscribers (October 2020)
    • Grow to 500 subscribers
  • Start a podcast (December 2020, listen here)
    • Get 1,000 listens in a month
    • Get 10 reviews on iTunes
  • Start a personal blog (February, 2021)

  • Self publish an ebook
  • Write a traditionally published book

  • Learn how to play and sing Bohemian Rhapsody on piano
    • sing and play it while my partner plays it on guitar

  • Become fluent in Spanish (current progress: Watching Cable Girls with Spanish audio and titles without an issue)
  • Become fluent in Italian
  • Be able to hold an everyday conversation in Korean

If my activities or priorities happen to change, I’ll update this page to reflect those changes. Last update was March 12, 2021.
